Radio Programmes
The Olive Tree programme is being broadcast on Premier radio nationally
on DAB every Sunday afternoon at 4.45pm.
You can listen to Premier Radio across the UK on DAB, on Sky Digital 0123,
on Freeview 725, or on line anywhere in the world at www.premier.org.uk
Each week we will load a new programme for you to listen to! Each programme
asks the simple question, 'What is God doing in Israel and the Palestinian
Areas today?' and the answers will be provided by believers living in the
Holy Land today, both Jews and Arabs, as well as from others who know the
situation well.

Julia Fisher talks to Schmuel Birlie, an Ethiopian Messianic Jew living
in Jerusalem. Formerly a drug addict, today Schmuel is a radical evangelist.
He shares his testimony and describes how he sees miracles happening in
Jerusalem today … a situation similar to the experience of the early believers
in Jerusalem 2000 years ago.

Week 7 - Andreas Zorob
Julia Fisher talks to Andreas Jorob, a Palestinian Christian living in Bethlehem.
He helps run a centre for children and young people in Beit Jala called
Beit A’Liqa, an Arabic name meaning House of Meeting. In a place of conflict,
Beit A’Liqa aims to be a place where people can come and meet the living
God.

Week 8 - Andreas Zorob
Julia Fisher talks further to Andreas Zorob, a Palestinian Christian living
in Bethlehem. He helps run a centre for children and young people in Beit

came to be built during an intifada.

in Yeshua and today is director of a drug rehab centre in Jerusalem and

Week 11 - David Davis
Julia Fisher talks to David Davis. He used to be an actor and director on
Broadway. When he became a Christian several years ago, he visited Israel
and whilst in the Old City of Jerusalem met an Arab women with cancer. That
visit was to change the course of his life. Soon after, he met and married
Karen, who is Jewish, and 20 years ago they moved permanently to live in
Israel where they established a drug rehab centre in Haifa for Jews and
Arabs and later a congregation on Mount Carmel.

Peter lives in Haifa with his Jewish wife Rita and together they are part
of the leadership team of a congregation for both Jews and Arabs on Mount
Carmel. In this interview Peter shares why living in Israel and being part
of the first generation of believers to advance the Kingdom of God there
is so compelling to them.

husband Peter in Haifa in northern Israel. We heard from Peter on last week’s
programme. But this week we feature Rita’s story; and quite a story it is
because she’s running a shelter for women in crisis and the women coming
to her for shelter are mostly refugees from Sudan. How come?

into a Jewish family and lived for many years in Mexico before moving to
Israel, where for the past 4 years he's lived in Arad in the south of the
country bordering on the Negev desert. Avi's story gives us Christians an
insight into how many Jewish people view us and therefore the person of
Jesus.

of Jerusalem. As a young man he found himself on the wrong side of the law
and ended up in an Israeli prison for a time. Soon after he became a Christian
and now is the pastor of a vibrant growing church with a vision to take
the gospel into the heart of the West Bank to people who have never heard
about Jesus.
